My name is Kirsten, and I live on QLD’s Fraser Coast with my husband and 4 kids. I have always been a cloth nappy user, and using cloth menstrual pads became what seems to me, a natural progression. Though my progression has gone from mere cloth pad user to a bit of an obsession. It has become a way to indulge my love of beautiful and interesting fabrics, and a very satistfying creative outlet.

I have recently started making and selling other products (including things for children) - please check my other store picanini.com.au to see what else is on offer. I am more than happy to combine store orders to reduce your postage costs.

The thing I love most about cloth pads? That they make something that used to only be an annoying inconvenience into something that is enjoyable. I’ve always been grateful to have a period – it’s an indicator of fertility and my womanliness. But often times, the prettiest and most luxurious things I wear each month are my cloth pads .

I love that something that I do is contributing to helping the earth that my children and grandchildren will inherit.
